Speaking Engagements
Book one of Wonderfil’s Founders to speak on sustainable entrepreneurship, refill systems & circular economy innovation
Amelia Eichel
CEO & Co-founder
Amelia is a sustainable entrepreneurship speaker, circular economy expert, and clean technology founder who inspires students, educators, policymakers, and sustainability leaders to rethink consumption systems from the ground up.
As the CEO and Co-Founder of Wonderfil, Amelia has built and scaled a certified refill technology platform and circular distribution model that replaces single-use plastic packaging with an intelligent bulk system.
Her talks blend systems thinking, real-world startup experience, pragmatism and operational grit — offering audiences both inspiration and tactical insight.
She is a sought-after speaker for universities, sustainability conferences, entrepreneurship programs, design schools, corporate ESG events, and climate innovation summits.
Shiloh Sacks
CTO & Co-founder
Shiloh leads the design and certification of the company’s refill dispensing hardware platform. A graduate of UC Santa Cruz with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Shiloh specializes in consumer-facing hardware systems, embedded electronics, and regulatory compliance.
Before founding Wonderfil, she worked at Joby Aviation and Zero Motorcycles, gaining experience in safety-critical design and the rigorous documentation standards required to bring complex hardware products to market.
At Wonderfil, Shiloh has helped build and certify a refill technology platform that had never previously existed in retail — navigating the real-world constraints of manufacturing, safety, compliance, and startup resource limitations.
As a half-Cuban female technical founder in climate tech, she speaks candidly about leading in spaces where women remain underrepresented.
"Amelia was one of our favorite speakers to invite for Deplastify the Planet, the sustainable design class I taught at UC Berkeley. As our students were working through complex, systems-level challenges for their project, it was immensely helpful to them to hear from Amelia’s story of building Wonderfil right out of college. She brought unique insights around building a sustainability solution with real-world constraints, and had such a joyful and easy way of connecting with students. Any class or conference interested in systems-level sustainability topics would greatly benefit from hearing her perspective and story."

"Amelia gave a guest lecture to my Introduction to Entrepreneurship class at UC Santa Cruz. First, it's worth noting that Amelia is the kind of entrepreneur that we desperately need more of. During her lecture, Amelia showed a rare blend of business smarts, technical prowess, and enough passion for her craft to fill an ocean. She helped my students understand that entrepreneurship is a calling in which you can unashamedly do good for your wallet while doing good for the world. Amelia was incredibly generous to share the remarkable story of her journey to build and scale Wonderfil, with equal weight for the ups as well as the downs. It's uncommon to engage with an entrepreneur like Amelia who is firmly grounded in her business while also trying to change the world...one refillable bottle of shampoo at a time. If you want to feel inspired and optimistic about the next generation of entrepreneurs, I highly recommend spending time with Amelia."

“We were thrilled to have Amelia Eichel, CEO of Wonderfil as a keynote speaker at a recent event! In February, the UCSC Sustainability Office hosted their first annual WasteFest, an interactive event focused on promoting zero waste actions on campus to students. Amelia was able to not only share the great impact she's had in the industry, but also connect to students as they navigate their careers post-grad in sustainability. We would love to have her back at UCSC to speak again, and are grateful for our partnership with Wonderfil.”

“I had the honor of hearing Amelia Eichel, CEO and co-founder of Wonderfil, speak on the entrepreneurs panel at the 3DE Club Launch Event on “Preparing Our Kids for the Future.” Amelia’s contribution stood out because she brought both entrepreneurial rigor and a deeply socially conscious perspective to the conversation. Her insight balanced the practical skills kids need (creativity, adaptability, real-world problem solving) with a clear commitment to purpose-driven innovation and community impact. Beyond the event, Amelia also shared a compelling and supportive review of the 3DE Club program on KSBW Action News 8, highlighting how the initiative introduces young people to entrepreneurship, teamwork, and life skills that prepare them for an AI-driven future — and urging the community to embrace this kind of early education for kids. Her endorsement on regional television helped elevate visibility for the program and underscored her genuine belief in empowering youth. Amelia doesn’t just talk about shaping a better future — she lives it through her work, her advocacy, and her intentional support of youth education. Her voice added credibility and heart to the 3DE Club Launch, and I recommend her unequivocally as a visionary entrepreneur, sustainability advocate, and champion for future-ready education.”
